Industry Awards - Financial Planner of the Year
In addition to achieving Chartered Financial Planner status in 2009, Brian has won a number of industry awards at the prestigious 'Money Management Financial Planner of the Year' awards, held every year at the Dorchester Hotel on Park Lane.
His area of expertise has been primarily in Inheritance Tax Planning, Wealth Management and Retirement Planning in the South West, so it's no surprise to see success in the following award categories:
- 1999 Money Management Executive Pensions Planner of the Year
- 2000 Money Management Executive Pensions Planner of the Year
- 2001 Money Management IHT Planner of the Year (runner up)
- 2002 Money Management IHT Planner of the Year
- 2003 Money Management Investment Planner of the Year
The Money Management Financial Planner of the Year awards are a true test of skill and judgement for any adviser. They are widely regarded as the premier awards for financial advisers, recognising their wide ranging skill, professionalism and the invaluable service that they offer to clients.
To achieve an award, the adviser has to present a written solution to a complex real life scenario from a selection of case studies and then impress a panel of expert judges in a face to face interview. The proces is demanding and tests the adviser at every level of their skill and judgement, most notably the ability to construct a well balanced solution to a complex scenario.
